One final walk with Mum and Dad then to complete the week. From the Palace Pier in Brighton to Rottingdean. This time we parked in Rottingdean, took the bus into Brighton and walked back to the car.

The entire walk can be completed at the foot of the cliff. The sea wall runs under the chalk here, sheltering you from the noise of the road and affording an easy level surface.

And so by the end of the day I've completed most of the south coast of Britain. I've walked from Sandbanks (the end-point of the South-West Coast Path) to Eastbourne. A good distance; I should be able to round off Kent fairly easily and I'll be well on my way.
