Coastwalk

Peacehaven → Cuckmere Haven

Distance: 10.3 miles
Ascent: unknown
Duration: unknown

West to east
« Rottingdean | Eastbourne »

Today's walk was fairly uneventful, but notable for one key reason: for the first time on the coastwalk I've crossed the Greenwich Meridian. There are three further occasions I'll cross the line, all near the mouth of the River Humber: Humberston, Sunk Island Sands and Tunstall. But those crossings are far into the future.

It was great to have some company on the walk too, even if Jon did keep moaning that I motored on a bit too much on the flat. (I make up for it on the hills; a day of climbing exhausts me very quickly.)
