Today's walk is the longest we've done in a long time. After adding the distance to the railway station at the end and the distance we walked to and from the railway at home the grand total just topped twenty miles.

It's been a lovely day, mostly in the shade of woodland although on a couple of points we dropped down from the hillside and walked through lush fields of corn which didn't look too far from harvest.

After a day of being in the countryside, it was a little jarring to finish beside the M2 as it crosses the Medway. Our next walk will begin this way as we cross the river on the motorway bridge itself.
